Description

Unfortunately for the Jasper Township and Mining Company they went broke and their holdings were sold at auction in 1903. One of the original investors and owners of Jasper City ended up buying back the property at sheriffs auction. F. M. Clancy of Colorado Springs was the man and on October 29, 1904 he platted and renamed the area Hayman.
