Page heading and description: "Our 50th Anniversary of Going to Guatemala - December 1958-2008. Fifty years ago this month we arrived in Guatemala to provide God's Word for the Chuj people. We lived 11 1/2 years in a very isolated village called San Sebastian Coatan (SSC). In the beginning, we drove up to 12 difficult hours from Guatemala City to the end of road, then hiked 4 hours over steep mountain trails. Two years later we had a "road" into SSC & could get there in about 12 hours total".

Narrow mountain road: "A typical stretch of our road (when weather was good)".

Group of people around house: "Our 1st home - 2 rooms, shared with 5 Chuj people".

Group of people standing in front of house: "The home we built after two years".
