August 24, 1996. Located on southeast spur Mount Lincoln Mineral Survey #185. Never patented. Stone walls mark the buildings. The Lincoln was the only mine to use stone for buildings. Above the Lincoln the southeast spur climbs up to the summit of Mount Lincoln, showing the remains of mining.

August 4, 1996. Ruins include foundation of large frame building. In 1880 a new working tunnel entered the mine below the older workings. Mine was worked as recently as mid 1930s. Building is probably ruins from 1930s. Ruins appear to be on Friday claim part of Dolly Varden estate. View is looking up Mount Bross. Water tank is in center.
