Abandoned architecture at Lincoln Mine in 1996
Mines and mineral resources; Mineral industries; Abandoned buildings
One of the original mines on Mt. Lincoln circa 1871, owned by the Moose Mining Co. In 1874, the owners were the Lincoln Silver Mining Company. At least $100,000 of ore was taken out in the 1870s.

August 24, 1996. Located on southeast spur Mount Lincoln Mineral Survey #185. Never patented. Stone walls mark the buildings. The Lincoln was the only mine to use stone for buildings. Above the Lincoln the southeast spur climbs up to the summit of Mount Lincoln, showing the remains of mining.
