<dcterms:description>Postcard of Margaret "Maggie" (Lilley) Devine (1886-1923) holding Henry E. "Harry" Baker (1907-1973). Note on back is written by Maggie, given the content. Unclear who the recipient of the postcard is. Message reads: "Dear Bro: Here is a [illegible] disturbed. I'm not nearly so cross as I look. In fact I was in a real good humor. I was glad to be out with my sister even if she did lack a part of her [anatomy?]. She took a very good picture. I don't believe you'd ever guess from the picture that she had just lost her appendix. Yours truly, on the other side". (On the other side of the postcard).

The photo is labeled 1907 but was probably taken in 1912.
