Description

Prunes monument in Fairplay, an adobe wall with "Prunes A Burro, 1867-1930, Fairplay, Alma, All Mines in this District" painted on the front, two window display cases, one with antique harnesses and the other with flyers, maps, and news clippings. A wooden marker is next to the wall with an etched drawing of a man leading a burro and a cross and "Andrew H. "GD" Brown Anderson, 1925-1968" written on the front. "Fairplay Colo., M-2485 written on lower left and stamp with "Rocky Mt. View Co., Glenn L. Gebhardt Mgr. 360 Lamar St., Denver Colorado 80226" in the lower right corner.
