Road approaching Moose Mine on Mount Bross At left is Mount Cameron (14,238 ft). At right is Mount Lincoln (14,286 ft) and in the foreground is Cameron Amphitheatre. Mineral survey #93. Patent #546 to Moose Mining Company, est. April 26, 1873. Located by Daniel Plummer, Joseph H Myers and Richard B Ware on August 5, 1871. Moose Mine produced more than $3 million in silver. The estate comprised 20 patented claims (115.49 acres), and at times the mine employed more than 100 men.
