Prominent Ranches and Ranchers
As ranching grew, a few ranchers began to dominate the scene in Park County. As their ranches grew in size and influence, many of them even settled small towns in their family name. Towns such as Hartsel became tourist locations, and railroad developments brought in a good amount of tourist traffic to the South Park area.
