Hand Hotel Bed & Breakfast on Front Street in Fairplay, Park County, Colorado, January 21, 2020

Modern Park County only houses two active governances: Alma and Fairplay. While remaining businesses operate in these towns, such as the Hand Hotel Bed and Breakfast in Fairplay, active restoration takes place on some of the remaining historical landmarks.[1]

Other preservation efforts come from the Park County Local History Archives, through the collection of photos, records, and oral narratives of the rich histories of Park County.[2]
